Well it's four thirty in the morning and I have eventually come down from bed as I am wasting my time trying to sleep up there. I am now fitted with a pump that goes into my vein and constantly puts in chemotherapy day and night. The pump is attached to me by a pipe about two and a half foot long. The problem is that when you lie on one side the pump has to be placed on that side of the bed with you. When you come to turn over which I seem to do frequently then I wake up and turn over moving the pump to the other side of the bed. I started off waking every ten minutes, which gradually increased until there was no time between turning over. This was three a.m. I was given steroids during chemo yesterday and they cause insomnia. Waiting for my wife to wake up before putting kettle on, don't want to disturb her as she has to go to work in the morning. I also expect this to happen tonight as well as pump will still be attached to me. I looking forward to having pump removed Friday. Yippee Just gone five now. We usually get up at six so that first cup of tea is edging closer ha ha. Speak to you later. Bye for now,
